Jason Parkin talks Turkey

Strike "Turkey" -- Make that WEATHER!

On Wednesday, November 14, 2007, Jason Parkin gave an informative speech on weather in Iowa. Students learned about severe weather and conditions that cause it. They learned about the history of newsworthy weather events here in Iowa. Did you know that the 1930's produced many of the weather records we still have today?

Students were given time to watch a tornado video, ask questions, and listen to an excellent weatherman's words of wisdom.
