February Student of the Month
February 01, 2008
Mason Nicklos, OHS February Student of the Month, is a very team oriented person. He has always been known for putting team goals ahead of his own personal goals. He is an intense person when it comes to reaching those goals.
Mason's involvement with extra curricular activities has been a positive experience. He has been involved with basketball, wrestling, track, baseball and football. Mason has received honors as an all district football team member, honorable mention in baseball and for the first time this year was crowned a champion at the Manson tournament in wrestling.
He has been a team captain in football and wrestling this year.
Mason has been involved in many co-curricular activities but he has also been taking a full academic load. He has been an honor roll student for all four years in high school as well as Bulldog Academic Achievement, and he is a member of the National Honor Society.
Mason has done volunteer work with the Ogden flag football program and Habitat For Humanity. He is currently a member of the Community United Methodist Church in Ogden. His parents are Paul and Diane Nicklos and his sister Lydia is a sophomore at OHS. Mason plans to attend a small college next year and play baseball.
Congratulations Mason Nicklos!
