Food Drive for the Boone County Blast

The Boone County Blast has been a favorite tradition for many years between Boone and Ogden communities. Like always, the friendly basketball rivals face off for the Boone County title. Of course, admission to the game is FREE for all who want to support their community! The game is December 5th at 5:00 in Boone.
A new twist this year is the Cans From Fans food drive. The two rival schools are not only going head-to-head in basketball, but, OHS challenged BHS in a food drive contest (per capita, of course). The answer from BHS??? "YOU'RE ON"!!! The 'losing schools' student council officers will go to the 'winning school' and serve the school lunch for the day! THE REAL WINNERS ARE THE PEOPLE WHO NEED TO UTILIZE THE FOOD PANTRY FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON.
The fans are encouraged to bring non- perishable food items to fill the Boone County food pantry up for the Holidays. From now until December 5 (week of the blast) students and other community members are asked to help our school beat Boone and fill the pantry. Donations can be brought to the school office.
