FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK
Included with this newsletter is a pamphlet from Youth and Shelter Services that outlines the Mental Health offerings available through this agency. A Parental Informational Meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 27 at 7:00 PM in the High School Auditorium. Counselors from YSS will give a brief presentation that will give parents insights into issues teenagers may have and how parental responses to these can have positive outcomes.
We are already at mid-term of the third quarter. With this B U L L D O G N E W S L E T T E R you are receiving Academic Progress Reports if your student is failing a course, near failing, or performing significantly below their capability. I would encourage you to conference with teachers who send you mid-term reports and/or our Guidance Counselor, Mr. Rich Dutcher. Working together we can craft a plan to help your student succeed.
We are holding Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, March 27 and Thursday, March 29 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Conferences will be held in individual teacher classrooms. Please note that students are welcome at these conferences.

•••Class 1 A State Wrestling Tournament Information: Students will be excused to attend the state-wrestling tournament if arrangements (written note from parent--no phone calls) are made. Feb. 16 class 1A; 7:00pm-10:15pm. Feb. 17 Class 1A; 3:30-6:45 & 9:35pm-10:45pm. Feb. 18 class 1A; 10:00-2:15. Finals begin at 6:00pm.
•••Girls Basketball Regionals begin February 11 at 7:00pm. Ogden vs IKM Manning at Manning.
•••Boys Basketball Districts begin February 16 at 7:00pm. Ogden vs TBD at Ogden.

CLASS OF 2012 GRADUATION PLANS
If seniors have not already turned in a baby picture and a senior picture to the High School office, they are due by April 1, 2012. The seniors are busy making arrangements for their graduation exercises, which are scheduled for Sunday afternoon, May 20, 2:30 P.M. in the high school gym.
Class Night activities are being planned for Wednesday evening, May 16 at 6:00, at TBD.
The class has chosen the following:
