State Track Place Winner

Toby Jo Klauenberg, shot put thrower at Ogden HS, placed second in the shot put at the Iowa State Meet this season (2010). She also finished sixth in the shot put at the Drake relays earlier this season. As a junior Toby Jo finished sixth in the shot put at the Iowa State Meet.
Toby Jo is the school record holder in the shot put with a distance of 43’9.5”. She is also holder of the discus record at Ogden with a distance of 121”. Toby Jo was awarded the team MVP both her junior and senior seasons. Also this season, she was the conference champion in the shot and discus and district champion in the shot put.
In her four years at Ogden, she has participated in four sports all four years; volleyball, basketball, track and softball. She received varsity letters in each sport. In addition, Toby Jo has received all-conference awards in volleyball, basketball, and softball.
Toby Jo is continuing her college education and track career at the University of North Carolina – Charlotte where she will be competing on scholarship. Toby Jo is the daughter of Toby and Jennifer Klauenberg.
