2026 MS Positive Potatoes

May 2026

Positive Potato is Ogden Middle School's version of Student of the Month with an extra fun title!  One student is awarded from each grade.  The students are selected by the adults in the building based on these character traits: respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, caring, and always trying to improve. The Positive Potato recipients this month are:

8th Grade: Addi Bell

7th Grade: Kenny Patten

6th Grade: Aniya Pals

The students are given a certificate with the educator's feedback for them. Here is just a snapshot of the one the students chose to share:

Addi! I am so incredibly proud of you! I know I can always rely on you to bring positive energy to the class! Thank you for being you! :)  - Mr. Nemaric

Kenny has been very active his 7th grade year and is a great student to work with. – Mr. Lake

Aniya, you are so kind and responsible. I appreciate all of the times you have helped a classmate with classwork. And you are awesome at keeping on top of your work too! Keep up the great work!  - Ms. Muhlbauer

Thank you to these people and businesses for their support of our amazing young people: Kim McCormick for her stellar crochet skills (each winner receives their very own positive potato with a superhero cape), The Well for their donation of drink coupons, and Ogden Fareway for their donation of snacks.
