Elementary Renovation Progress:  August 2026

The demolition crews made great progress this week at the elementary school.  About 40% of the basement has been properly cleared.  Once the CMU’s are gone, you can start to see the size and potential of the lower level.  The columns will remain, but the space will be awesome.  We are so excited to see this progress!

Elementary Remodel Notice to Bidders

May 2026

The Ogden School Board took another step in the elementary renovation project last week by approving FRK'S design development.  Mr. Heyer shared plans, the scope of the project, and met with employees to share perspectives.  The project will be bid late summer, with demolition of the basement beginning in August.

At last night's board meeting, the board took a critical step forward by approving the schematic design for the elementary school improvement project.  FRK presented the schematic design to the board, discussed the timeline, and the cost for the project.  With the board's approval, FRK will continue moving forward with design development.

Below is the schematic design for the elementary school improvement project.  FRK will be on-site gathering information over the next month.  If the project advances as FRK has mapped out, demolition will begin in the basement area before the start of the 2026-2027 school year.  The project will be done in two phases with as little impact on instruction as possible.
